I am Sylvain (:seel-vahn), a hands-on technology leader with senior experience across software development and tech leadership roles, both in France and in Australia. I have strong expertise in driving technology strategy, leading high-performance engineering teams, as well as designing and building web applications at scale.
I started my career as a CGI Artist before moving into Software Engineering. As a result, most of my savoir-faire is at the overlap of design, creativity and technology. Prior to joining Travis as Chief Technology Officer, I was Technical Director at Clemenger BBDO, ranked most creative agency in the world. During my time there, I built the technology team from 4 to 15 people and worked on a wide variety of award-winning projects with Airbnb, MARS, NAB, TAC, Victorian Government, MYER, Mercedes-Benz and many other clients. Some of the awards I received include Cannes Lions Grand Prix, Global Amazon Alexa Cup, and Webby Awards.
